It started when we came in here this morning and flipped the lights on. We decided to move some chairs around, dust behind the microphone stands, and vacuum the curtains; before we knew it, we took out a garbage bag’s worth of Tim’s old ice caps, dissolved a nest of spiders who had taken refuge among discarded earplugs, and redesigned the whole layout of the place with the artistic end of a sledge-hammer.

Don’t mind the jellyfish, they’re ambience pieces.

So, recording is essentially done, as is the majority of mixing. Now that the semester is over, we’re investing ourselves into the final push. The next few weeks will consist of frequent meetings with our mixing and mastering pals as well as our resident artist. We’re aiming for a June release. The rest of the summer will ideally consist of shows and preparing all the accumulated new material that’s been sitting around while we were pissing around campus.
